Game Room Supervisor 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars 1220 SW 130th Ave, Davie, FL 33325 Job Summary The Gamesroom Supervisor is responsible for creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging recreational environment for youth ages 6-18 within the Club’s gamesroom. This role involves supervising and facilitating activities such as board games, pool, air hockey, foosball, and other social-recreational games that promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive peer interaction.
Responsibilities:
Supervise youth in the gamesroom area, ensuring safety, respectful behavior, and active participation. Design and lead age-appropriate gamesroom tournaments and daily challenges. Promote positive behavior, conflict resolution, and leadership development through structured play. Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming gamesroom environment. Track attendance and participation; encourage regular use of the space by all age groups. Ensure gamesroom equipment is used properly and report any damage or missing items. Engage with youth to build positive relationships and reinforce core Club values (respect, responsibility, and fair play). Collaborate with other program staff to support Club-wide initiatives and special events. Enforce Club rules and safety policies consistently and fairly.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework in Education, Recreation, or related field preferred. Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience working with youth in a recreational or educational setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with youth ages 6-18. Ability to model positive behavior, fairness, and patience. Basic understanding of gamesroom activities and willingness to learn and teach new games. Must pass a background check and any required child safety clearances.
