Soccer Referee Upward Soccer Windermere, FL 34786 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Soccer Referee to officiate youth league games. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the game, strong conflict resolution skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with players, coaches, and spectators. This role plays a key part in promoting fair play, ensuring safety, and creating a positive experience for young athletes. _ Duties _ Officiate youth soccer games according to league rules and regulations Monitor player behavior and enforce rules to ensure a safe and fair playing environment Clearly communicate calls and decisions to players, coaches, and spectators Handle on-field conflicts professionally and calmly, using effective conflict resolution strategies Work with other referees and league staff to maintain consistency in officiating. Encourage good sportsmanship and provide guidance to players when appropriate Attend trainings and workshops to stay current on rule updates and improve officiating skills _ Skills & Qualifications _ Strong conflict management and decision-making abilities Thorough knowledge of soccer rules and gameplay Excellent verbal communication skills Experience working with children or in youth sports is highly preferred Ability to stay composed under pressure and maintain control of the game
