Media interviews (female) Basketball Scoutz Augusta, GA 30906 Overview We are seeking a dynamic and engaging female candidate for the role of Media Interviews (Basketball). This position involves conducting interviews with players, coaches, and other stakeholders in the basketball community. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports, particularly basketball, and have excellent communication skills to effectively convey insights and stories to the audience. Duties Conduct interviews with basketball players, coaches, and relevant personnel to gather insights and stories. Prepare thoughtful questions that engage interviewees and elicit informative responses. Collaborate with the media team to develop content that highlights basketball events and achievements. Educate audiences on basketball techniques, strategies, and related topics through interviews. Utilize knowledge of martial arts, judo, karate, or cheerleading to enhance discussions around physical education and behavior management in sports. Participate in promotional activities related to basketball events and initiatives. Maintain a professional demeanor during all media interactions. Qualifications Strong background in basketball; experience as a player or coach is highly desirable. Familiarity with martial arts (judo, karate) or cheerleading is a plus. Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Experience in teaching physical education or sports coaching is beneficial. Ability to manage behavior effectively during interviews and discussions. Passion for sports and a commitment to educating others about athletic performance. Willingness to climb into various settings for interviews or events as needed.
