Referees are responsible for officiating games, ensuring fair play, and helping players learn the rules of the game. On-site training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for those new to officiating or looking to enhance their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Officiate flag football, soccer, and basketball games in accordance with i9 Sports rules and guidelines. Ensure games are conducted fairly, safely, and with a focus on fun and learning. Engage positively with players, coaches, and parents to promote good sportsmanship. Explain rules and provide constructive feedback to players as needed. Arrive on time to the venue and assist with game-day setup if required. Communicate effectively with the Site Manager and staff about any issues or concerns during games. Maintain a positive, professional attitude and uphold the values of i9 Sports.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of flag football, soccer, or basketball is a plus, but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to make quick, fair decisions under pressure. A passion for working with kids and creating a positive experience. Reliable and punctual. Availability to work weekends. Must be at least 16 years old.
