Anyone with experience in lax and a college graduate who is looking for an amazing summer role to work with kids! (1) Teach Lacrosse skills during Clinic Periods, including fundamentals ( handling, shooting, passing) techniques, rules of the game, and game play scenarios. (2) Referee/Coach and facilitate Divisional League games; these games are opportunities to continue with the instruction from Clinic Periods. (3) Provide differentiated instruction and skill development Elective Periods. (4) Referee/Coach and facilitate Super League games, which provide more competitive opportunities for campers. Make sure all campers are receiving fair playing time. (5) Referee/Coach Intercamp games against other camps in either Roller or Floor Hockey. Represent Camp Canadensis’ values while out of camp. Make sure all campers are receiving fair playing time. (6) Be organized, prepared, and ready with daily lesson plans before the activity day begins. (7) Find ways to include scheduled General Bunk Counselors into the activity plans. (8) Ensure that equipment and courts are safe for play. Report any issues to supervisors. Make sure camp hockey equipment closet is locked when not in use. Ensure that campers’ personal equipment is neatly stored in cubby areas.
