Our mission is to foster an inclusive environment where all students, including neurodiverse learners, can thrive academically. We are seeking a passionate and flexible educator to join our dedicated team of professionals.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable remediation teacher to work with students in grades K-8. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Math or Science, be tech-savvy, and have experience working with neurodiverse students. This role requires a candidate who is highly organized, has excellent attention to detail, and can handle a variety of tasks in a dynamic classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized lesson plans for students in need of academic remediation. Support students with learning difficulties, particularly those who are neurodiverse, in Math and/or Science subjects. Adapt teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student. Integrate technology and interactive tools to enhance learning. Work closely with other staff to track student progress and make adjustments as needed. Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment. Participate in school meetings, professional development, and training programs.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience OR recent college graduate with a degree in Education, Math, Science, or a related field. Experience working with neurodiverse students, especially in a K-8 setting. Strong knowledge of Math and/or Science concepts. Proficient in using technology (computers, educational software, etc.) to enhance learning. Highly adaptable with the ability to take on different tasks and assignments `as needed. Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining organized records and lesson plans. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

Experience working with small groups or one-on-one instruction. Ability to design and implement individualized learning plans. Flexible and willing to work in a dynamic, evolving educational environment.

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:

$40,000.00 – $55,000.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
