Teacher Lux Classical Christian Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250 • Hybrid work Lux Classical Christian, located in Jacksonville Beach, FL, is currently seeking passionate and dedicated elementary and middle school teachers to join our team. Meeting on campus three days a week during the academic year, Lux’s mission is to reflect God’s light by partnering with families to provide a classical Christian education that equips children spiritually, academically and socially.

Position Overview:

Role:

Elementary or Middle School Teacher Schedule:

On-site teaching from Tuesday to Thursday, ranging from 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (depending on subjects taught), with flexible remote planning hours on Mondays and Fridays.

Jacksonville Beach, FL Responsibilities:

Teach using an integrated, Christ-centered curriculum that encompasses classical liberal arts education. Collaborate with grade-level teams to plan instructional activities, including student experiences such as performances and field trips. Communicate effectively with parents and engage them in the learning process. Foster a love for learning and inspire students to pursue knowledge and wisdom.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in Education preferred. Previous experience teaching in an elementary or middle school setting is highly valued. Familiarity with or willingness to learn classical education methods. A commitment to Lux’s Christian ethos, including agreement with the statement of faith, active church involvement, and a lifestyle of discipleship under Jesus Christ.

Preferred:

A background in classical Christian education.

Salary:
