Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic, creative Culinary Instructor to lead an after school cooking program for students in grades K-5. This hands-on program introduces aspiring young chefs to food safety, basic culinary skills, and fun recipe creation. The coach will plan and lead lessons that build skills sequentially and inspire a love of cooking.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver engaging cooking classes aligned with long-range plan Differentiate instruction for Kdg.-2nd and 3rd-5th grade groups Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment Teach basic food prep, kitchen safety, and simple recipe creation Incorporate seasonal and holiday-themed lessons Supervise students and assist with behavior management Coordinate with admin for supply orders and planning Promote teamwork, creativity, and kitchen confidence

Qualifications:

Experience teaching or working with children (required) Culinary background, training, or strong home-cooking experience Strong organizational and communication skills Must be able to lift 25 lbs and be on feet during class First Aid/CPR or willingness to obtain preferred Passionate about healthy food, education, and
