Our Foundations program is designed to help students build strong academic, social, and emotional skills that prepare them for success throughout their educational journey. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Foundations Teacher to join our team and inspire students to achieve their full potential. As a Foundations Teacher, you will provide instruction to students in foundational subjects, such as literacy, numeracy, social-emotional learning, and critical thinking skills. You will create a nurturing classroom environment that fosters curiosity, growth, and a love of learning.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards. Create a supportive classroom environment focused on respect, inclusion, and positive behavior. Assess student progress regularly and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs. Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure student success. Incorporate a variety of instructional techniques, materials, and technology to support diverse learning styles. Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events. Maintain accurate student records and reports. Uphold the school’s mission, core values, and policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field required. Valid Florida teaching certification required Experience teaching foundational-level students (early elementary or developmental programs preferred). Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive classroom culture. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
