Job Summary This position prepares and delivers Excel instruction as a part-time instructor for Georgia Highlands College, a multi-site college in the University System of Georgia. Responsibilities Is responsible to understand, support, and carry out the college¿s mission, vision, and values and comply with mandates and regulations of government and accrediting bodies. Conducts engaging and informative Excel training sessions for participants at both beginner and advanced levels Develops and delivers instructional materials, including presentations and hands-on exercises Customizes training content to meet the needs and skill levels of participants. Provides ongoing support and guidance to participants throughout the training sessions. Evaluates participant progress and offers constructive feedback Evaluates student progress in attaining goals, objectives, and learning outcomes Maintains accurate records of participant attendance, schedules and course requirements including hours of instruction and content. Maintains timely and proper communication with participants and Manager via phone, email, and other electronic means. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Proven experience as an Excel instructor or in a similar training role. Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced features and functions. Strong presentation and communication skills. Ability to adapt training methods to various learning styles and skill levels. Prior experience teaching both beginner and advanced Excel topics is preferred. Proposed Salary The Start Date is TBD. Each class is 2 – 3 hours in length Salary is $300 per class This is a Non-benefitted position and does not have supervisory duties.
