Job Summary:

Under general supervision, instructs and suervises students of a state educational, rehabilitation, health care or correctional facility. Develops individual instruction plans, provides instruction, completes reports and tutors students.

Primary Duties & Responsibilites:

Enforces administration policices and rules governing students. Instructs students in vocational an dpre- vocational skills. Maintains necessary reporting systems. Prepres and delivers progres reports. Prepares and maintains students’ records. Prepares daily work plans and laboratory excerices. Provides daily work plans and instructional materials for classroom use. Provides individual attention and asistance to meet the varied needs and abilities of students. Teaches and instructs through lectures, demonstrations and audio/ visual aids. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or University OR recognized certification in the area of vocational assignment.

Note:

Position may require area specific certifications.

Preferred Qualification:

In addition to Entry Qualifications, Prefered Qualifications may be added by the agency.
