About the Position
Second-level Vocational training position accountable for supervising and instructing clients in basic and advanced career or technical occupational and labor skills (e.g. plumbing, welding, carpentry, automotive mechanics, electrical wiring, metalworking, computer repair, food service, cosmetology, etc.). Accountable for preparing reports based on client attendance, performance, progress, and skills assimilation. Employees may also assist in the development, planning, and preparation of the course outline and content. This position is within Building 63. •This is a non-state service, time-limited NS-14 position with Mississippi State Hospital (MSH). •What you’ll need to be Successful
Successful candidates must have a good attitude, be ready and willing to learn and grow, have strong attention to detail, strong communication skills, and excellent organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Typically requires a High School Diploma or high school equivalency and 2+ years of relevant experience/education and/or relevant certifications/licenses.
