Driver Education Teacher North Carolina Driving School Southport, NC Job Details Part-time $25 – $30 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Mid-level High school diploma or GED Driver’s License 4 years Teaching Full Job Description Part Time Driver Education Instructor needed at North Brunswick HS, South Brunswick HS, and West Brunswick HS. Great job for retirees on Social Security. Great job for Early Retired fire/police/military/ municiple or utility persons. $25 per hour for in car instruction. Work hours 4 per day 4 or 5 days a week. Can work on Saturday as welll 60 hour minimum a month. AND/OR Teach a 30 hour classroom after school. 3 hours for 10 days once a month after school. In the summer class is 5 days from 8am to 2pm. Mon-Fri classroom pay $30 per hour or $900 per class. Coaching experience a plus. Must be 25 years of age. Must have a clean driving record. Must take an 80 hour (two week) certification course. We pay for Instructor course ($250). We reimburse for fuel. (travel to and from Class and Hotel if you have to travel over 2 hours) Must have at least 4 years of experience as a licensed operator of a motor vehicle. Must have not been convicted of a felony involving moral turpitude in the last ten years. Must not have any revocation or suspension of license in the last 5 years. Must have graduated from High School or have High School equivalency certificate. Must not have convictions for moving violations totaling 5 points in the last 5 years. Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Criminal background check must be completed prior to hiring.
