Seasonal Outdoor Education Instructor 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Hendersonville, NC 28739 Join our Outdoor Education Team! Inside Out is looking for enthusiastic facilitators to join our team for our Fall season! Inside Out is committed to creating experiential education programs that will leave participants with a sense of accomplishment, learning, adventure, and bonding.
Program Overview:
Programs are typically 1-4 days in length and take place at one of our partner camp facilities, a local state park or nearby national forest, with one Louisiana travel program. Group ages are 4th through 12th grade, and each program is customized to fit the needs of our clients.

Fall Season:
8/25
- 8/28: 6th
- 8th Graders
- Overnight, facility based 9/8
- 9/11: 6th Graders
- Overnight, facility based 9/25
- 9/26: 5th Graders
- Day Program, Travel Program (SC) 10/7-10/10 & 10/15-10/17: 4th grade, Day program 11/1
- 11/14: 5th, 6th , & 4th
- Travel program (LA), 6-day and 14-day instructor opportunities as well as a 9-day food director position are available
Qualifications:
- Current First Aid/ CPR / EPI certified
- Experience working with youth
- Proven ability to manage youth groups
- Ability to pass a background check
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate groups of 10-14 students through multiple activities.
- Ability to facilitate team building initiatives, group games, ice breakers, and warm-up activities.
- Lead groups through activity rotations such as high ropes courses, day hikes, team building initiatives, and night time activities.
- Group management
- Maintaining the emotional and physical well-being of students (challenge by choice)
- Housing available on case by case bases. Programs are contract work, sign on for as many or as few programs as your schedule allows! Pay is $120
