Harmony Elementary School The EC Resource Teacher at Harmony Elementary School is responsible for providing specialized instruction and support to students with exceptional needs. This role focuses on creating an inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and social growth for students with disabilities. The teacher will collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique requirements. Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with exceptional needs. Provide direct instruction and support to students in a resource setting. Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and progress.
