General Education Teachers for Private Elementary School Holy Martyrs Armenian Day School (HMADS) Bayside, NY 11364 Opening for General Education Teachers Private Elementary School Bayside/Oakland Gardens, Queens, NY Holy Martyrs Armenian Day School (HMADS) is a private school in Oakland Gardens, Queens, that provides a superior elementary education to its students in small classroom settings, and a genuine opportunity to its faculty to teach in a pleasant atmosphere and a positive, academic environment with a supportive team of professionals. The school offers a bilingual (English and Armenian) academic program and has an average student body of 75 students from Nursery through 6th Grade (ages 3-12). HMADS is currently interviewing candidates for the following:

FULL TIME GENERAL EDUCATION TEACHING POSITIONS NURSERY-SIXTH GRADE STARTING SEPTEMBER 2025

Teacher will be responsible for creating an inviting, growth-oriented learning environment, and engaging students in a rigorous curriculum that initiates curiosity and a love of learning while giving students an opportunity to thrive. BA/BS in Education required; MA/MS preferred. Preschool nursery certification not required but preferred. Must be fluent in English, knowledge of Armenian a plus.
