Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Lead Elementary kids in exploring delightful and creative recipes through interactive sessions. Organize mobile cooking classes, teaching essential skills like cutting, stirring, measuring, and promoting healthy eating habits. Source weekly recipe ingredients independently. Travel to designated classroom locations Supervise and ensure the safety of children in the classroom Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote a productive learning environment
Qualifications:
Experience working with students, preferably in a childcare or educational setting Availability at least 2 days a week Monday-Friday between 3-4:30 pm for one-hour classes for 8 week sessions. Also available during weekends as needed. Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively plan lessons and manage classroom activities Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in children Summary As a Children’s Cooking Class Instructor (PT), you will be responsible for creating engaging and educational cooking classes for children. Utilizing your core skill in teaching, you will develop and deliver curriculum that fosters a love for cooking and learning. Your premium skill in curriculum development will ensure that lessons are structured and effective. With relevant skills in classroom management, tutoring, and experience with children, you will provide a safe and supportive learning environment.
