- This position is contingent upon hire and requires a secret security clearance.
- Responsibilities
- + Provide high-level engineering support in the design, development, testing, and sustainment of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), with emphasis on a Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA).
+ Support technical efforts related to mission systems architecture, cybersecurity and information assurance, and aircraft survivability. + Lead or participate in engineering and design reviews; provide expert technical recommendations to government stakeholders. + Conduct systems engineering analyses to identify, resolve, and prevent operational and sustainment issues. + Support planning and oversight of mission-critical computer systems, including acquisition, configuration, and integration of hardware and software. + Analyze technical data to support lifecycle sustainment planning, software/hardware configuration management, and documentation development. + Contribute to logistics documentation such as Lifecycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), Cost Analysis Requirements Descriptions (CARDs), and technical manuals. + Assist in managing system interface agreements, maintenance strategies, and periodic test/certification planning.
