Summary:
Seeking an Aircraft Systems Engineer with extensive military experience or relevant engineering degree to lead and support systems design and integration for aviation solutions.
Required Qualifications:
12+ years military experience in aviation systems engineering OR Bachelor’s degree in related field plus 6+ years experience
Ability to travel domestically and internationally
Capability to work outside and on aircraft; lift up to 50 lbs
Proficiency with hand tools
Eligibility for security clearance
Valid US Passport
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in both military and civil aviation systems engineering and design
Familiarity with FAA STC Approval process and military airworthiness process
Understanding of government regulations (FAA & military)
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and test instrumentation
Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MS Project, and other analysis tools
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive systems engineering including design, integration, manufacturability, quality, airworthiness, configuration & data management
Support the design and development of avionics, electrical, mechanical, and mission-specific systems for customer requirements
Lead teams in the design, development, integration, installation, and modification of aircraft systems for military and commercial applications
Pay Details:
