Join the integrated Government?industry team delivering PhalanxGriffon (PG) —a platform?agnostic, open?architecture aerial nodethat pushes real?time, multi?level?secure data to the tacticaledge. As the Senior Aeronautical Engineer , you will be theprogram’s primary air?vehicle integration lead, translating thedigital design into safe, air?worthy hardware and ensuring seamlessfit, form, and function across multiple aircraft types.

EssentialJob Functions:

Platform Integration Lead Own the aircraft?levelmechanical & structural integration of the Nomad hardware stack,SATCOM apertures, and platform?interface modules (PIMs). Developand coordinate AF Form 1067 packages, air?worthiness artifacts, andflight?clearance data with System Program Offices (SPOs), FlightTest Centers, and OEMs. Perform trade studies and SWaP?C analysesto down?select form?factor options for priority platforms. DigitalEngineering & Model?

Based Design Author/maintain 3?D CADassemblies, interface?control models, and parametric weight/balancedata inside the program’s government?owned digital thread. Feedreal?time design feedback to Nomad, Smith, and Watch IPTs and theGovernment architecture team. System Integration Laboratory (SIL)Support Define aircraft?representative fixtures, wiring harnesses,and environmental test setups; oversee buildout and day?to?dayoperation of the Integration SIL. Execute vibration, EMI/EMC,thermal, and functional checkout testing prior to DT/OT. FlightTest & Fielding Draft test plans, hazard analyses, and InterimAuthorizations to Test (IATT) ; serve as on?board or ground?testengineer during developmental and operational flights. Leadred?line capture, root?cause analysis, and incorporation of lessonslearned into subsequent builds and Product Delivery Orders (PDOs) .Program Execution & Mentorship Maintain integration milestoneswithin the Integrated Master Schedule; brief risk, cost, andreadiness metrics to Government leadership. Provide technicalmentorship to mid?level engineers; cultivate a culture of agile,DevSecOps?aligned hardware development.

Required Skills:

Due to thesensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship isrequired. B.S. in Aeronautical, Aerospace, or MechanicalEngineering and 15 years of aircraft modification oravionics?hardware integration experience (military platforms highlydesired) or a Masters degree plus 12 years of experience.

Demonstrated expertise in: structural analysis (FEM), weight &balance, wiring/HARNESS integration, and MIL?STD environmentalqualification. Hands?on experience guiding systems from lab toflight test to fielding within USAF or DoD acquisition frameworks(AFI 63?101/20?101). Proficiency with CREO, NX, CATIA, orSolidWorks; familiarity with MBSE (Sys

ML/CAMEO

) a plus. ActiveTS/SCI clearance.

Desired Skills:

Prior involvement in ABMS,OMS/UCI, CJADC2, or open?architecture avionics programs. Workingknowledge of multiband SATCOM hardware, NSA?accredited cryptodevices, and cross?domain solutions . Experience authoring orreviewing Air Force flight?clearance and air?worthinessdocumentation (AF 879, AFCB, E?Series). Agile/Scrum or SAFecertification; familiarity with DevSecOps toolchains in classifiedenvironments.

Pay Range and Benefits :

There are a variety offactors that can influence salary at DCS Corp, including but notlimited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract laborcategories and wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specificskills and competencies, education, and certifications. Theproposed salary range for this position is:

Salary Range:
