As a Quality Engineer you will report to our Sr. CustomerProgram Manager be responsible for ensuring the quality system,manufacturing, inspection and test processes, and productcharacteristics comply with both customer requirements andgovernmental regulations. You will also be a key member of the QAteam, providing feedback on quality issues and facilitatingnonconforming material and corrective action activities. Thisposition is one that requires the employee to obtain variouscustomer-required certifications. Who are we? What will you do? Create quality plans for product qualification(PPAP and FMEA) as well as validate production processes NPI (Newproduct introduction) quality planning (Work Instructions andProcedure development) Ability to communicate daily to customersvia email and phone conferences. Attendance at daily stand up,RCCA, scrap and continuous improvement meetings Review andimplement specifications as directed by customers and thegovernment Review and approve incoming and outgoing purchase ordersInitiate, monitor, and control internal and external customerrequests for corrective action Facilitate and host customer auditswhen required Authorize product/process changes via EngineeringChange Requests, or Customer Engineering Change Requests Act as ourcustomers’ release agent upon acquiring relevant certificationsAuthorize and issue Returned Goods Authorization (RGA’s) What do wehave to offer? $85,000-$95,000/ year 5% quarterly bonus potentialPositive and collaborative work environment Flexible schedule Paidtraining Educational Assistance 401K with match 20 days of paidtime off/ ESST What can you bring to the table?
