We are seeking a driven and experienced Solar Sales Manager to lead our residential sales team in the Aventura area of Miami, Florida. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth by overseeing a team of sales representatives focused on cold calling and door-to-door lead generation to secure residential solar contracts. The Sales Manager will recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team, ensuring they meet or exceed sales targets while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Fluency in Spanish is essential to connect with our diverse South Florida clientele. This is an exciting opportunity to lead in a fast-paced, high-growth industry with significant earning potential through a competitive base salary and commissions tied to team performance.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales representatives, providing ongoing coaching to enhance their cold calling, door-to-door canvassing, and closing skills.

Performance Management:

Set individual and team sales goals, monitor performance metrics, and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure consistent achievement of monthly quotas.

Training and Development:

Oversee team participation in a solar sales training program, ensuring all sales representatives complete required sales and financial training to educate homeowners on solar benefits and government incentives.

Client Engagement:

Occasionally join sales representatives for in-home presentations to support complex deals, ensuring a professional and persuasive approach to closing contracts.

Lead Generation Oversight:

Guide the team in canvassing neighborhoods, validating leads through calls, emails, and texts, and maintaining a robust pipeline of prospective customers.

Collaboration:

Work closely with installation and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery, maintaining high customer satisfaction and addressing any post-sale concerns.

Reporting:

Track and report team sales performance to senior management, providing insights and recommendations to optimize strategies and achieve company revenue targets.

Compliance:

Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards, representing the organization in a professional and esteemed manner.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a sales management or leadership role, preferably in residential solar, roofing, or related high-ticket industries.

Language Skills:

Fluency in Spanish and English is required to effectively communicate with South Florida’s diverse homeowner base.

Proven Track Record:

Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets, with experience managing teams that rely on cold calling and door-to-door sales techniques.

Leadership Abilities:

Strong ability to motivate, mentor, and lead a team, with a hands-on approach to training and performance improvement.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate, and present persuasively to both team members and clients.

Technical Knowledge:

Familiarity with solar energy systems, government incentives, and financing options is preferred; willingness to complete solar sales training is required.
