Execute laboratory cellular research tasks related toan scaffold 3D ing; support thepany’s goal of establishing new experimental procedures and analytical metrics to characterize the biological oues of different lung cell types on 3D ed lung scaffolds. Perform cell studies experiments to address the technical challenges with efficient post-processing of 3D ed objects. Implement biochemical assays to evaluate cell phenotypes after cellularization of 3D ed scaffolds, including imaging (bright field, confocal, lightsheet), immunostaining, and qPCR. Implement and evaluate culture methods using bioreactor systems. Perform biochemical assays following manufacturer instructions. Record and manage the use of the materials and reagents needed to carry out experiments. Record all laboratory data in the in-house data management systems. Prepare reports, technical documents and Standard Operating Procedures for internal and external use. effectivemunication and dataanization skills to report and present scientific data to other team members individually and at group meetings. knowledge biological/biomedical/biotechnology concepts, standards and methods to execute 3D ing, scaffold processing, and bioreactor assembly for cellularization experiments.

Minimum Education and Experience Required
Master’s degree in a Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or Cellular Biology field with 1 year of experience in a Biomedical Engineering, or a Cellular Biologist position. As an alternative, a Bachelor’s degree in a Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or Cellular Biology field with three years of experience will be acceptable. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
12 months of experience ing Aseptic Technique and mammalian cell culture methods
12 months of experience ing tissue engineering concepts
12 months of experience executing protein and molecular biology assays and techniques
12 months of experience acquired with laboratory imaging and microscopy
12 months of experience acquired in a hands-on laboratory environment
