The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer-aided design, with proficiency in various CAD software applications. As a CAD Drafter, you will play a crucial role in transforming concepts and ideas into precise technical drawings and schematics that will guide the construction and manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and NavisWorks. Develop schematics and layouts for various projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications. Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and design intent. Modify existing drawings based on feedback or changes in project scope. Prepare presentation materials, including 2D animations and visualizations using Sketchup or Civil 3D. Maintain organized project files and documentation for easy retrieval and reference. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in drafting. Experience Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, NavisWorks, Sketchup, and Civil 3D is required. Experience in creating schematics and technical drawings for construction or manufacturing projects is preferred. Familiarity with 2D animation techniques is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
