Basic Job Functions:
A Detailer is responsible for preparing open web steel joist and steel deck drawings using Tekla based detailing software. Detailers must be able to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements. Detailers must coordinate information between Vulcraft and customers to create field use drawings and bill of materials for correct product design and manufacture. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
