AutoCAD/Microvellum Drafter The Cabinet Shop LLC Mobile, AL 36608 The Cabinet Shop LLC , is a commercial architectural millwork company located in Mobile, Alabama, specializing in commercial and residential casework, solid surface, and stone tops, for medical, hospitality & corporate environments. We have an immediate opening for an (In-House) AutoCAD / Microvellum Drafter to join our team!

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Use Microvellum and AutoCAD based software, to create shop drawings for client review and manufacturing purposes.
- The individual will learn how to process CNC cut lists and G-Code, as well as custom CNC programs to assist with our products.
- Read and interpret architectural construction documents.
- Drafting casework and millwork per project documents and quotes, and per our standards and details.
- Revise shop drawings with field dimensions and client notes.
- Utilize Microvellum to generate CNC work orders and cut lists for manufacturing.
- Coordinate with our Operations Dept.
to ensure schedule is adhered to. Requirements & Skills to
Succeed:
- Ability to read blue prints and construction documents.
- Experience drafting with AutoCAD is required.
- Ability to develop portions of a project with little oversight.
- Knowledgeable in architectural drafting and detailing techniques.
- Strong design skills.
- Technical understanding of construction and processes.
- An interest in growing with the company.
- Experience using Microvellum is desired, but not required. Compensation $18.00
- $26.
00 per hour depending on previous experience in related fields of architecture, cabinetry, casework, millwork, construction, etc.
