FULL-TIME
Starting salary is $55-$60,000. The CAD Operator is responsible for creating, modifying, and releasing technical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks under the direction of a supervisor. This role supports internal teams and external clients by producing accurate, high-quality CAD models and documents that align with customer objectives and company standards. Create and modify CAD drawings and models from verbal descriptions, sketches, prototypes, or marked-up documents. Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical components, tools, dies, and equipment. Review sketches, specifications, and data to evaluate design requirements and technical feasibility. Revise existing designs to address deficiencies or improve manufacturing efficiency. Collaborate with project leads, production teams, and customers to coordinate design changes and schedule updates. Assist in managing Bill of Materials (BOMs), configuration control, part identification, and procurement. Perform document checks on simple or routine CAD work created by others. Identify opportunities to enhance quality and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment. Maintain accurate records of all design work and revisions. Promote a positive and professional work environment and uphold strong customer service standards.
