Drafter 356 Solutions, LLC 138 County Road 792, Brookland, AR 72417 Job Summary 356 Solutions was built from the ground up with a shared passion for excellence and a desire to cultivate a work environment where respect, inclusivity, and individual dignity are foundational values. 356 Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Drafter to support the engineering and construction of fiber optic networks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing construction-ready drawings and technical plans for aerial and underground fiber deployments. This position requires proficiency with CAD/GIS tools and a solid understanding of telecommunications infrastructure standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed utility construction drawings for underground and aerial fiber installations using CAD and GIS software. Draft print layouts including but not limited to conduit routes, cable paths, splice points, manholes, and pole attachments. Interpret field data, engineering designs, and redlines to generate construction-ready design packages. Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, client requirements, and applicable utility. Create supporting documentation such as permit plans, splice schematics, and BOMs (bill of materials) Update as-built drawings based on construction changes or field verification. Preferred Skill Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or certificate in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or 1-3 years in related field. Strong background in Auto
CAD, GIS
Software, and Microsoft Suite (Excel) Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team environment. Strong Data Entry Skills Strong background with design, as-builts, Google Earth, KMZ files, GIS data, AutoCAD, and Google Suite (Sheets etc) A valid Drivers License is required for all positions 356 Solutions is an equal opportunity employer that is willing to help grow knowledge in all software needed to better serve this position.
