The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers and architects. This role requires proficiency in various drafting software and a strong understanding of mechanical design, schematics, and building code. Duties Develop and prepare detailed drawings, schematics, and models using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, etc. Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate designs. Create 2D animations and visual representations of designs to aid in project presentations. Maintain organized documentation of all drafts, revisions, and project updates. Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements or modifications. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the drafting process. Requirements Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp is essential. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and the ability to create accurate schematics. Experience in building design or construction-related projects is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for problem-solving. Good communication skills to effectively convey ideas and concepts to team members.
