We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level drafter to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or individual with a foundational understanding of drafting principles to gain practical experience and contribute to exciting projects. The entry-level drafter will work under the guidance of experienced drafters and engineers to create and revise technical drawings and plans. We have openings in our Merritt Island and West Palm Beach locations.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the creation of detailed technical drawings based on sketches, specifications, and calculations provided by engineers and designers. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit,) to produce accurate 2D and/or 3D drawings. Learn and adhere to company drafting standards and procedures. Review drawings for accuracy and completeness under supervision. Organize and maintain drawing files and project documentation. Collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and other team members. Assist with revisions and updates to existing drawings as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or vocational training in drafting, design, or a related field preferred. Basic understanding of drafting principles, techniques, and standards. Familiarity with at least one CAD software is preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication and organizational skills. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with specific industry standards or regulations Knowledge of building codes or manufacturing processes Experience with 3D modeling software.

$18.00 – $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
