Job Description
::: {#job_details_ats_requisition_description}Cimarron is seekingAerospace Designers/Draftersto support the Orion spacecraft, NASAs next-generation vehicle designed to take astronauts beyond the Moon, in Cape Canaveral, FL. Youll play a key role in designing and drafting Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) critical to the programs success. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to a flagship space program and work on hardware that supports human spaceflight.
Key Duties
- Use Creo or similar tools to develop models, assemblies, and engineering drawings
- Translate engineering concepts into clear, production-ready designs
- Create layout drawings and production detail drawings in compliance with
ASME Y14.5
standards
- Revise existing CAD data and support drawing verification and configuration control
- Collaborate with engineers to improve designs and support manufacturing readiness.:::::: {#job_details_ats_requisition_requirements}Required Skills, Experience, and Education
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time
- 3 or more years of experience with 3D design tools
- Extensive 2D drafting experience
- Experience working on cross-functional teams
- Strong understanding of drafting standards and GDandT
- High School diploma or equivalent.

- Experience with Creo
- Experience supporting a NASA or DoD program.
