Join our team of diverse, professional individuals! Our company is a fast-growing Design build firm, specializing in commercial franchise work. We are seeking highly skilled Architects for immediate hire, with long-term potential. The Architectural drafter will assist in the preparation of new or active drawings and construction documents; correcting and updating existing drawings as needed. Efficiently collaborate with fellow and Senior Architects, Project Manager, Development Teams and other colleagues to complete basic phases of project. Work on copies of sketches, layouts and detailed plans prepared by other drafters. We offer competitive, performance based salaries plus benefits. Reports to:

Senior Architect/CEO.

Experience:

Required minimum 3 years to apply. Compensation negotiable/based on experience. Please provide a detailed resume and a cover letter to be considered for an interview. Duties & responsibilities:

• Develop design drawings for assigned drawings, in accordance with Senior Architects’ design parameters.
• Draw rough and detailed scale plans for foundations, buildings and structures; based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and related data.
• Lay out and plan interior room arrangements for commercial buildings- utilizing computer-assisted drafting equipment and software.
• Provide construction department with project design drawings necessary for accurate cost estimating.
• Provide accurate final construction documents to secure all required building permits.
• Working knowledge of [the most current] Florida building codes, designs and materials.
• Prepare and keep current product specifications and design manuals for projects in assigned states.
• Maintain all files and/or drawings, both physical and electronic, in a consecutive, organized fashion.
• Obtain and assemble necessary data to complete architectural designs and secure job site measurements, if instructed to do so by Senior Architect.
• Communicate with construction staff as needed.

Minimum qualifications:

• Applicant must have a degree in architecture.
• 3+ year minimum experience.
• Applicant will need to demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD on all levels. Including, but not limited to: design modeling, construction documentation and rendering.
• Familiarity with graphic illustration software programs (ie: Adobe Photoshop). Revit and 3D software programs preferred, but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Project.
• Self-Motivated, quick learner, effective oral and written communication skills required.
• Candidate must be a U.S citizen.
• Primary language: English; bi-lingual preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ideal candidate desires longevity and growth.
