is an Engineering/Contractor small business in Miami, FL. currently Seeking a skilled structural AutoCAD Drafter, the position is open immediately. The position is full time to work at the office. Located in West Kendall. Monday to Friday. 9:00 am – 5:30 pm (30 minutes lunch).
QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidate shall possess knowledge of residential, commercial and conventional construction Including also the preparation of drawings for windows, doors, curtain walls, shutters, railings and Pre-fab structural products, like wall and roof panels and conventional construction.
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience preparing clear, complete, and accurate detail drawings from Rough or detailed sketches to be provided by the engineers, existing libraries and architectural drawings.
Utilize Autodesk Auto
CAD 2022
Edition, to provide support to engineers by preparing detailed drawings, and has basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must Comprehend Architectural, Structural and fabrication plans.
- Modifies drawings by studying changes; drawing assemblies and components, changing Or adding Building Code references; following redline instructions, creating tables or schedules. All this information will be provided by the engineers.
- Work closely with Engineers to ensure jobs run smoothly; completes other duties as assigned and meet deadlines.
- May perform some basic calculations using already available computer programs or manually under the engineer’s supervision.

- Must possess and exhibit a positive, “can do” attitude.
- Excellent communicator (oral and written in English and Spanish), assertive, highly organized, determined to succeed, detail oriented and enthusiastic.
- Ability to conceive new approaches, streamline processes, prioritize and multi-task.
- Ability to work well on a fast pace environment.
