Pay Range 26 to 30
We are seeking a CAD Technician to join the company, a premier supplier, in Orlando, FL.

  • Support the Document Management Team at Stanton by performing various functions using AutoCAD and Vault to manipulate plant drawings in support of Engineering Staff and others. Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
  • Maintain and update electronic drawings for Stanton electrical plant to reflect the most current information for periodical changes and updates.
  • Ensure databases of all files contain the most accurate information for efficient planning of future system upgrades and improvements.
Technical Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Vault Create, maintain and update drawings of mechanical and electrical systems of the energy plant.
  • Review and edit detailed drawings, plans and maps through AutoCAD.
  • Export, archive and import drawing files from Stanton Energy Center engineers; Conduct field investigations to locate and verify various structures within the OUC Stanton Energy Center; Establish design plan permits using AutoCAD programs.
  • Maintain quality assurance and quality control of the data management system (Autodesk Vault); Coordinate the exchange of data with internal and external customers.
  • Provide reliable service, accurate information and necessary resources in the performance of job duties.
  • Maintenance and Operational manuals; Drawing Standards, Documentation and Safety Procedures.
  • Electric circuits and other forms of electrical maps concerning OUC infrastructure; Equipment and Operational Practices for Coal Fire Power Plant and Gas Combustion Turbine Units; Software The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating an equitable and inclusive environment for all Job Details
