Nordic Group is a reliable family-owned custom cabinetry and woodworking company in the heart of Boca Raton, Florida. We specialize in designing, creating, and installing high-quality cabinetry and wood products, including custom-designed kitchens, home theaters, entertainment centers, bathrooms, vanities, closets, and furniture pieces. Our facility combines traditional woodworking processes with state-of-the-art technology to ensure precision and quality. We are seeking a talented and creative Drafter/Cabinetry Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and drafting custom cabinetry and woodworking projects, with a strong focus on home theater production. You will work with clients to bring their visions to life, ensuring that each project meets their unique specifications and exceeds their expectations.
Responsibilities will include:
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Create detailed drawings and plans for custom cabinetry, woodworking and home theater projects. Maintain multiple projects at the same time while staying within time restraints. Manage the quality of the products. Coordinate with team in order to streamline production.
The following qualifications are required:
Proven experience as a Drafter/Cabinetry Designer or similar role. Experience and proficiency designing fully customized products using computer-aided design/drafting (Autocad). Strong people skills. Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints and construction drawings. Ability to interpret customer ideas into realistic plans. Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Working knowledge of general construction is a plus.
