AutoCAD Designer/Drafter 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars Lakeland, FL 33801 We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our dynamic fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in creating detailed technical drawings and schematics using various CAD software. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles and the ability to collaborate with office staff and engineer to bring concepts to life. The CAD Drafter will play a crucial role in the development of projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
Responsibilities:
Designing, modifying, and preparing 2D and 3D CAD drawings for metal parts, structures, and assemblies. Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and specifications. Clearly communicate design requirements and specifications to other team members, including fabricators and engineers. Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations. Review and revise designs based on feedback from engineers or clients. Maintain organized documentation of all drafts and revisions. Identify and resolve design issues that may arise during the fabrication process. Assist in the coordination of project timelines and deliverables.
Skills needed:
1 -2 years of AutoCAD experience (2D and 3D) Experience with fabrication process (such as cutting, welding, bending, and joining) and metal materials (such as steel, aluminum, etc. ) Able to problem solve with ease. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm $21.00 to $23.00 hourly After a couple of months, this position will transition to a hybrid position, half the week in the office and the remaining remotely.
