The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans that support various engineering and architectural projects. The Drafter will collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications. Proficiency in CAD software and a strong understanding of mechanical design principles are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software, including but not limited to AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks. Collaborate with engineers and architects to create designs that meet project requirements and specifications. Prepare layouts, schematics, and assembly drawings for mechanical components and systems. Utilize software such as SketchUp, NavisWorks, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and other tools to enhance design accuracy. Review designs for compliance with industry standards and regulations. Make revisions to existing drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders. Maintain organized documentation of all drafts and design changes throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar programs is required. Experience with mechanical design principles is highly desirable. Familiarity with additional software tools like SketchUp, NavisWorks, MicroStation, Civil 3D, or 2D animation techniques is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality technical drawings. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. A degree or certification in drafting technology or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
