Job Description
We’re currently seeking a Mechanical Design Drafter for a great local manufacturer in the Sarasota area! This is a full-time opportunity for someone with strong CAD experience and a background in manufacturing design. If you’re detail-oriented and love bringing ideas to life through technical drawings, this could be the perfect fit for you!

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (Hours may vary)
Pay :
$22•24/
Hour Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed and accurate product designs using engineering and manufacturing principles Develop and update drawings based on design requirements and engineering specs Work closely with the manufacturing team to improve designs for production efficiency Ensure all designs comply with internal standards, safety regulations, and industry codes Apply established processes and design standards to ensure consistency and accuracy Offer insights into cost and manufacturability during the design phase Design components, sub-assemblies, and complete product structures Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues quickly and effectively
What We’re Looking For:
Proficient in CAD software•Pro-E preferred, SolidWorks experience also welcome 2+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing design role Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Great attention to detail and a focus on accuracy Solid communication skills•both written and verbal Able to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines with ease Associate degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Drafting, Design, or a related field
