Microstation CAD Designer Job Description The Microstation CAD Designer is responsible for producing high-quality maps and drawings, ensuring accuracy, thoroughness, and clarity. The role requires adherence to project schedules and budgets while providing responsive service to clients. Coordination of map and drawing production is essential to meet quality standards, budgets, and timelines. Responsibilities Produce accurate and thorough maps and drawings. Coordinate the production process to meet quality, budget, and schedule goals. Download and upload field data for technical production using various software platforms. Communicate effectively with the project team. Essential Skills Proficiency in Microstation and Open Road Designer (ORD). Experience with FDOT standards and AutoCAD. Strong skills in surveying, land surveying, and drafting. Ability to process and compute survey data. Experience in boundary, ALTA/ACSM Land Title surveys, topographic surveys, and transportation projects. Additional Skills & Qualifications 3 – 5 years of experience in design survey processing and survey computation. Experience with Trimble Business Center, EFB Data processing, GPS processing, and planning.
