Job Description:

Drafter/Detailer Winter Springs , Fl Pay $

DOE Responsibilities:

Drafting:

Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to createaccurate and detailed technical drawings, blueprints, andschematics. Structural steel detailing.

Interpretation of Designs:

Understand and interpret rough sketches, drawings, andspecifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers.

Precision and Accuracy:

Ensure that all drawings are precise,accurate, and comply with industry standards, regulations, andproject requirements.

Material and Dimensional Specifications:

Incorporate material specifications, dimensions, and tolerancesinto drawings as per project requirements.

Collaboration:

Workclosely with engineers, architects, and other team members tounderstand project goals, requirements, and constraints.

Collaborate on design modifications and improvements as needed.

Documentation:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of alldrawings, revisions, and project-related correspondence.

QualityAssurance:

Conduct thorough reviews and checks of drawings toidentify and correct errors or inconsistencies.

Meeting Deadlines:

Manage workload effectively to meet project deadlines andmilestones.

Communication:

Communicate regularly with projectstakeholders to provide updates on drawing progress, addressconcerns, and seek clarification on specifications or requirements.

Stay updated on advancements in CAD software, industry standards,and best practices for drafting and detailing.

Continuous Learning:

Detailer Requirements:

5 years of experience with Tekla Structuresor SDS2. Working with Structural and Miscellaneous Steel Projects.

Knowledge of or some experience in AutoCAD. Knowledge of AISC,AISD, and OSHA Standards Strong attention to detail andproblem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbaland written, in English. Able to work independently and as part ofa team.
