Job Details Develops layout and design drawings from architecturaldrawings or sketches provided to the company. Makes phone calls tobuilding designers or professionals to obtain or clarifyinformation shown on blue line drawings. Generate placement plans,identifying the location of the individual designs. May obtaininformation pertaining to products supplied by the company thathave been field modified or damaged. The information is summarizedand given to a professional engineer to evaluate and completerepair drawings when required. Analyzes technical data and reportsto determine if design meets functional and performancespecifications. Confers with technical and other engineeringpersonnel and prepares design modifications as required. Analyzesplans and diagrams, or observes and makes notes on materialprocessing, to determine material and material processingspecifications, or specifications for construction activities.

Writes technical descriptions specifying material qualities andproperties. Draws rough sketches or arranges for finished drawingsor photographs to illustrate specified materials or assemblysequence.

Must have:

3 yrs of Wood Truss Designer experienceExperience working with one or more of these softwares: Mitek,Alpine, Eagle Metal, Simpson Strong-tie Interested in hearing more?
