Endless opportunities for career growth & development! Job DetailsDevelops layout and design drawings from architectural drawings orsketches provided to the company. Makes phone calls to buildingdesigners or professionals to obtain or clarify information shownon blue line drawings. Generate placement plans, identifying thelocation of the individual designs. May obtain informationpertaining to products supplied by the company that have been fieldmodified or damaged. The information is summarized and given to aprofessional engineer to evaluate and complete repair drawings whenrequired. Analyzes technical data and reports to determine ifdesign meets functional and performance specifications. Conferswith technical and other engineering personnel and prepares designmodifications as required. Analyzes plans and diagrams, or observesand makes notes on material processing, to determine material andmaterial processing specifications, or specifications forconstruction activities. Writes technical descriptions specifyingmaterial qualities and properties. Draws rough sketches or arrangesfor finished drawings or photographs to illustrate specifiedmaterials or assembly sequence.

Must have:

3 yrs of Wood TrussDesigner experience Experience working with one or more of thesesoftwares: Mitek, Alpine, Eagle Metal, Simpson Strong-tieInterested in hearing more?
