CAD Drafter/Designer AGG Entities Duluth, GA 30096 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics that support our engineering and design projects. This role requires proficiency in various CAD software and a strong understanding of mechanical design principles. The CAD Drafter will collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Duties Understanding of cabinet/millwork design and construction Prepare shop drawings and product data using AutoCAD or Microvellum Revise shop drawings & product data as necessary Maintain updated records of all architectural drawings and revisions Document management of shop drawings and product data, including revisions Attend hand-off meetings as necessary Track contract drawings such as specs, RFIs, ASIs, bulletins, etc. Assure projects are scheduled and delivered on time and budget Continuous improvement activities to increase productivity and profitability of the company Quality Assurance of products produced Must be able to multi-task Must be fluent in reading architectural drawings. Experience Proficiency in CAD software including SolidWorks, Bluebeam and other relevant tools. Must be familiar with
LEED, FSC, AWI, AWI
QCP, and SEFA standards. Experience in mechanical design and the ability to create detailed schematics. Familiarity with drafting standards and practices. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
