Senior CAD Technician Position Available In East Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Kaukahi is seeking an experienced Senior Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) Technician with a strong background in AutoCAD and Bentley MicroStation. This position plays a vital role in supporting facility survey projects across the United States. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of architectural floor plans, AEC industry standards, and have the ability to convert field sketches into highly accurate digital floor plans. This is a full-time position offering career growth opportunities, with assignments that may range in duration from a few days to several months depending on project scope. The role involves extensive travel, with up to 100% travel expected.

Tasks:

Use CAD tools to create and update digital floor plans of buildings on military installations Interpret and document space usage according to standardized criteria and attributes Utilize computing and digital measuring devices to generate highly accurate floor plans Maintain a high level of productivity and attention to detail Ensure detailed data quality standards are consistently maintained Engage with clients and team members in a professional and collaborative manner

Compensation Minimum:

$20.00

Compensation Maximum:

$23.00

Job Requirements:

Qualifications :

Associates in related field Minimum of 5 years of prior CAD experience Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite Physically able to walk or stand for more than 6 hours per day Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 100%)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with ePRISMS (minimum 3 years)

Work Location:

Remote Physical Requirements Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to {50} pounds as necessary.
