Job Description:
Staffmark is looking for a talented Drafter/Designer to join our team in Monroe, LA. In this direct-hire opportunity, you will play a key role in managing architectural projects from schematic design through to construction documentation. Keep reading to learn more and apply today!
Salary:
$50,000 – $60,000
Shift:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00
PM Responsibilities:
Prepare schematic and design development phase documents.
Create comprehensive construction documentation for issuance and pricing.
Maintain project schedules and communicate concerns with the project team.
Update and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) files throughout all project phases.
Coordinate with consultants using BIM and 2D CAD documentation.
Assist the Architect in reviewing shop drawings.
Conduct site visits and document existing structures as necessary.
Qualifications:
3+ years of drafting experience in a construction company.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and Office 365.
Experience with commercial construction project documentation is preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Previous architectural project coordination experience.
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
