What a Millwork Drafter Does As a millwork/casework drafter, you will help create millwork shop and technical drawings for our projects. These projects will include cabinetry for kitchen and bathroom spaces in multi living unit buildings. You’ll be given various assignments and work with the engineers to interpret the basis of architectural designs and constructabilities of the designs as well. You will work closely with our engineers, project managers and clients to ensure that we are offering top quality workmanship and customer service. Once we have our client’s approval for your designs we can then build and install the custom product. Requirements Proficient in Architectural Millwork and Casework Shop Drawings Able to create Architectural Millwork and Casework Shop Drawings efficiently without supervision Solid understanding of Architectural Millwork Solid understanding of Cabinet Making Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD Knowledge of AWI and QCP standards Experience in Revu-Bluebeam All Candidates must have experience creating drawings in a millwork shop. With Verifiable references Skills Must have excellent communication skills, problem solving abilities, and strong attention to detail. Must have strong time-management skills and be comfortable with a deadline driven schedule. Must be a team player Multitask
