The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and shop prints using various drafting software to support engineering and design projects. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD and the ability to collaborate effectively with the team of builders. Responsibilities Develop detailed drawings and schematics using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications. Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings. Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation,, SketchUp, SolidWorks, and others to create 2D and 3D models. Review and revise designs based on feedback from team members or clients. Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for future reference. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all drafting work. Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications and reports. Qualifications Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SketchUp, SolidWorks is required. Experience in creating schematics and technical drawings is essential. Strong understanding of design principles and drafting techniques. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual tasks effectively. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. A degree or certification in Drafting Technology or a related field is preferred but not required.
