CAD Designer Position Available In Harrison, Mississippi

Job Summary:

The CAD Designer will be responsible for preparing layout, production, and shop drawings for precast/prestressed concrete elements, including beams, slabs, columns, and wall panels. This role requires a strong attention to detail, an understanding of construction and manufacturing processes, and experience with CAD software.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed CAD drawings and layouts for precast and prestressed concrete components. Interpret architectural and structural plans to produce shop and erection drawings. Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Revise drawings based on markups and feedback from engineers and clients. Assist in maintaining drawing and file management systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and company drafting practices.

Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in CAD drafting/design, preferably in precast/prestressed concrete or structural drafting. Proficiency in AutoCAD Familiarity with construction documents, blueprints, and shop drawings. Understanding of concrete structures, reinforcement details, and erection sequencing. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
