AutoCAD Operator Carolina Custom Leather 1118 1st West Street, Conover, NC 28613 Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer-aided design and be proficient in various CAD software applications. This role involves creating detailed drawings and plans for projects. Duties Develop and prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Revit, and NavisWorks. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project requirements and specifications. Create accurate models and renderings for presentations using SketchUp and Civil 3D. Review designs for compliance with regulations and standards. Modify existing drawings based on feedback or changes in project scope. Maintain organized files of all design documents and revisions. Assist in the preparation of project documentation including reports and specifications. Qualifications Proficiency in CAD software. Experience in 2D animation is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. A degree or certification in CAD technology or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Previous experience as a CAD Technician or in a similar role is required.
