Summary We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated CAD Technician to join our team for commercial projects nationwide. Fortuna’s design team specializes primarily in the interior design of restaurants and coffee shops not to exclude other commercial and retail spaces! Job Overview The ideal candidate will create 3D models, drawings, and renderings based on client specifications. This position requires a high level of technical knowledge and a strong understanding of CAD software. The CAD Technician will ensure that projects are completed quickly and accurately, meeting all client requirements. Responsibilities Create 3D models, drawings, and renderings based on client specifications Analyze blueprints, sketches, and other design documents to determine design requirements Use CAD software to create technical drawings and plans Maintain and update existing design files Collaborate with clients and other designers to ensure accuracy and efficiency Ensure all projects are completed on time and meet client expectations Requirements & Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or related field Previous experience as a CAD Technician or related position Proficiency in computer aided design software, including AutoCAD Experience with 2D animation and Sketchup for 3D modeling Ability to create detailed building plans and schematics Ability to create technical drawing and drafting skills Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in all designs and drawings Excellent communication and problem solving skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment
